You asked, we answered

Have a question? Want to learn more about our store and policies? We’ve compiled a list of some of the most popular questions, accompanied by our thorough answers. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact us.

WHERE IS MY ORDER?
This question is the number one asked question because customers do not read our sales policy. We are not your typical order today, ship tomorrow store. Everything marked available for sale on our website is based on first come first serve, Pre-order. We usually have all that is available for purchase on hand ready for shipping. At times, we may need to restock the tanks and put the fishes under quarantine. If you ordered during these times, then your order will ship within 1-3 weeks after the date of purchase. Most orders ship the same week or the coming week. Usually when we know that we will go a period of time without having a species or size, then those will be marked out of stock.
Cancelling an order that has not been fulfilled can be refunded upon request.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We take various payments including Paypal, card, etc. on the website. We take cash or card at our facility when you buy directly. We do charge a card processing fee per transaction. Transactions over $1000 may incur 4% processing fee.

DO YOU SHIP LIVE FISH?
Yes, we ship Live Fish nationwide including Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii. Unfortunately, we do not ship to Guam. The State of Wisconsin & Minnesota gradually add new laws every year, governing most species of plant and fish we sell. Check with your state prior to ordering.

CAN I ORDER FISH AND PICK UP AT YOUR FARM?
No, Our Farm is closed to the public. But you are more than welcome to order online and pick up at our store! Just select store pick up as your shipping option. We will reach out to you when your order is ready for pick up. You can also call our office to place an order. Most of the time, large orders will be packed at the time of your arrival. This is to prevent the fishes from sitting in the bag all day, waiting for you. It's better for you and the fishes.

DO YOU SELL TILAPIA?
No, we do not have tilapia. Although, we hope to carry them in our inventory in the future.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
Our Store hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesdays.
11am - 5pm

I THINK MY BASS GROWTH IS STUNTED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Sometimes same size bass does not instantly mean your bass population is stunted. Adding large or xlarge bluegills may solve the problem. They will not be eaten, which can reproduce enough foraging fishes for your bass so they can grow. Allow at least one season to see a difference. Thinning out the bass population may be another option if overpopulation is visible.

 SHOULD I FEED MY FISH?
High protein feeds will enhance its productivity and keep everything healthy. You can create a balanced ecosystem by using Mosquito fish, Bluegill, or other forage minnows to feed your predators. When a good ecosystem is created, you don't really need to use pellet feeds.

DO YOU SELL PLANTS?
Yes, we sell all marginal, bog, floater, and submersible plants. Marginal plants are good for up to 1 foot of water growing. Bog plants can be planted at the shorelines while submersible plants like hornworts can be planted in the center of the pond. Floaters such as hyacinths, azolla, frogbits can be great for pond shading and providing great hiding spots.

DO YOU SELL FISH FOOD?
Yes, we sell fish food.

DO YOU GUARANTEE YOUR FISHES?
Yes. We offer Live arrival guarantee for all of our online customers. We also guarantee Live arrival at the time of pouring into your pond for truck deliveries. Unfortunately, we do not offer Life Warranty. We cannot accept the risk of what is in your water. Regardless if your water tested good, there are many other factors in your water that may kill your fishes later in time. See our Sales Policy for full details for customers that ordered online for shipping.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE OF YOUR FISH FOOD AND MINE?
Our fish food are premium pellets made with high quality blends and high in protein. Cheap fish foods are heavily blended with corn meal which is hard on the fish's digestive system. Cheap foods also usually come in less protein.

WHY IS MY POND WATER MUDDY?
There are just a lot of sediments and you probably have healthy fishes at the bottom stirring things up. Sometimes muddy water is beneficial. It helps filter out too much light which can help control aquatic weeds and plays a key factor to prevent harmful algae bloom. There are many pond water dye out in the markets that can drop the sediments and keep your water blue, too. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend a product.

I HAVE A PREDATOR PROBLEM. HELP ME!
We ourselves experience the same issue everyday. A large cage, mesh covering, or adding plants to the pond may help the problem. Most species, particularly birds are protected in most states. We suggest calling your Department of Fish and Wildlife or Department of Natural Resources. They will be able to provide many more details to help the problem.

HOW MANY FISH SHOULD I STOCK?
The number of fishes to be stocked in your pond vary greatly based on your pond size and what is already presented. But the average numbers are 1000 fingerling Hybrid Carp per acre, 1000 Mosquito Fish per acre, 200 Bass per acre, 500 Bluegills per acre, 200 catfish per acre.
The numbers may seem high. But keep in mind, you will lose some due to natural death and predators. No, we are not trying to sell as many fishes as we can.

I AM STARTING A FISH FARM. DO YOU DO CONSULTATION?
No, we do not offer paid consultation for starting a fish farm. Our staffs cannot provide answers to questions or give advice on starting or operating a farm due to liability. Regardless of our expertise, we cannot help. There are other bigger farms that may work with you.
